Gradiest for iPad
A working prototype of Gradiest, the multi-touch color correction controller, was demoed at the Cineform booth at NAB 2010. With Gradiest, you can control the color corrections in Cineform's First Light, as you would with a traditional hardware controller.

How can I keep up with developments, and release dates?
Send a quick email to info@actfocused.com asking be put on our mailing list, and you'll be among the first to hear about any new developments.

When will Gradiest be available?
We're in heavy development, but are working to get the first versions released by early Summer 2010.

Why Cineform's First Light?
The Cineform technologies are top-notch tools that approach workflow and color management the right way. The Cineform team helped to get Gradiest working with First Light. Without their cooperation and knowledge, this demonstration wouldn't have happened so quickly, or been so successful.

When will my favorite color correction program be supported?
Compatibility with color correction programs is one of the highest priorities right now. The best way to keep up with new developments is to get on our mailing list (send a request to info@actfocused.com).
How much will it cost?
A fraction of the cost of traditional color correction hardware

Is it practical to color correct without tactile feedback?
Yes. Interations are different without buttons and knobs, but the benefits of a digital interface probably outweigh the drawbacks for many colorists. A Multi-Touch interface is more sensitive than hardware devices can be, and most importantly, more adaptive to your needs.
